Job summary

The Parklands of Floyds Fork is seeking an Outdoor Adventure Camp Manager to plan, implement, and evaluate outdoor camp programs. You will lead seasonal staff and volunteers while ensuring safe, engaging experiences aligned with Parklands’ values of safe, fun, clean, and beautiful.

Responsibilities include camp operations, scheduling, risk management, and parent communication, plus support for school field trips, outreach, and public programs throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation, Outdoor Education, Environmental Education, Education, Natural Sciences, Recreation Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of three years of experience in camp operations, youth programming, or related outdoor education.
• Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Outdoor Adventure Camp programs, including scheduling and logistics.
• Supervise and coach 15 summer seasonal camp staff and volunteers.
• Ensure camper safety, risk management, and appropriate staff supervision ratios.
• Lead school field trips, outreach, and public programs outside the camp season.
• Support visitor services and program equipment maintenance.
• Assist with budget planning and camp marketing efforts.
