Job summary

Covetrus, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead – Warehouse/Distribution Outbound at our Aurora, CO location. You will lead outbound order fulfillment, packing, and on-time cut-offs, while guiding a small, climate-controlled team to meet customer and company requirements.

You’ll ensure safety, DOT compliance for hazardous materials, and provide training to keep operations efficient. The role offers strong benefits and a collaborative environment focusing on animal health logistics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in warehouse or production environment; prior experience directing work flow preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience with data entry on a PC.
• Experience and knowledge in distribution processes (receiving, shipping, and inventory control) preferred.
• Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) scanners preferred.
• Forklift Certification preferred; ability to become forklift certified required.
• Ability to read and understand English language to read product descriptions and labels.

Responsibilities

• Leads and motivates the outbound team in order preparation, picking and packing, and ensuring cut-off is achieved to meet customer and company requirements.
• Ensures the team abides by DOT regulations in the processing of hazardous materials, including ORM-D, per carrier requirements.
• Ensures team uses proper packing procedures and that adequate packing supplies and equipment are available.
• Maintains a safe working environment, according to established safety procedures.
• Advises management of issues that affect the efficiency of the operation.
• Monitors performance of team members and provides feedback to management.
• Recognizes training needs and implements training to ensure team is prepared.
