Job summary

Pos Service Holland seeks a dependable warehouse associate to support outbound operations and order preparation. You will manage dock assignments, perform regular checks, and pack/label products to meet customer specs.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm in a warehouse setting, requiring detail orientation, teamwork, and the ability to read SOPs and work with RF devices and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; 1 year experience or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, WIs, and stage plans.
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and teamwork.
• Effective verbal communication and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize daily dock assignments and workflow.

• Re-box and label materials, verify counts, and transfer to staging.

• Follow 5S principles and safety protocols; participate in training.
• Collaborate with team to enhance productivity and cross-train.

POSITION SUMMARY

The individual in this role will provide support for outbound operations using the queue management system. Additionally, this position will aid in the selection, verification, and packaging of orders, ensuring they meet the specific specifications and requirements of the customers.

Shift is Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm (1st Shift)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize daily dock assignments.
• Conduct regular hourly checks of the dock area.
• Read and interpret a variety of stage plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), or Work Instructions (WIs).
• Engage in physical activities to sort and move products effectively.
• Operate material handling equipment, such as RF devices, label machines, weight scales, and pallet jacks.
• Re-box and label materials, conduct weight counts for sales orders, and transfer materials to staging areas.
• Perform various duties, including organizing excess items from picking.
• Enter data accurately, including completing daily production sheets and other necessary transactions.
• Mark and tag containers with appropriate identifying information.
• Assemble product containers as required.
• Pack containers and re-pack damaged ones as needed.
• Install protective devices, like bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage during transportation.
• Participate in a collaborative work environment utilizing effective communication and willingness to cross train to enhance team productivity, versatility, and skill development.
• Comply with comprehensive safety protocols and participate in ongoing training to ensure a secure work environment and maintain a safety-conscious culture.
• Follow all 5S principles and guidelines daily to optimize workflow, efficiency, and a clean work environment.
• Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management.

• Has the ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Walking, Reaching and Handling Must be able to frequently move about inside the warehouse to access product and machinery, etc. Must be able to stand and walk 60% of time, lift up to 40 lbs. normal, up to 70 lbs. less than 10% of time.
• Seeing Frequently reads various documents and operates computer and other office tools/databases/equipment.
• Talking and Hearing Frequently communicates with colleagues, co-workers, and customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
