Outbound Sales Representative – M&A Lead Generation

Eco Electric and Plumbing is actively acquiring smaller residential electrical and plumbing companies in the $500K–$3M range. We’re looking for a driven, tech-savvy inside sales representative to spearhead outbound outreach, identify qualified businesses, and set up initial discovery calls with prospective sellers. This is a high-impact, lead generation role focused on connecting with business owners, sparking interest in selling, and qualifying opportunities for acquisition. If you thrive in outbound sales, understand the residential trades industry, and are excited by the idea of helping grow a company through M&A, we’d love to talk.

This position will start as part-time, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on performance. In addition to hourly pay, we offer generous performance bonuses for qualified leads and successful handoffs, making this a lucrative opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls to identify and connect with owners of residential electrical and plumbing companies
  • Qualify whether businesses meet Eco’s acquisition criteria (revenue size, service type, etc.)
  • Generate interest in the benefits of selling to Eco and secure a second call with Eco’s leadership
  • Build and maintain prospect lists through online research and industry tools
  • Track all outreach and lead activity using CRM tools
  • Work closely with the acquisitions team to ensure seamless handoffs and alignment on targets
  • Meet or exceed call volume and lead conversion goals

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outbound calling and lead generation (ideally in acquisitions or M&A)
  • Experience in the residential plumbing or electrical industry is required
  • Available to work part-time hours to start, with flexibility to increase hours based on performance and business needs
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills; confident speaking with business owners
  • Skilled in researching, building call lists, and using CRM or sales tracking tools
  • Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
  • Technically proficient and adaptable to new systems
