Webstaurantstore is hiring a Short-Term Outbound Material Handler (Order Picker) for our Cumberland, MD distribution center. This 6-month assignment on the 3rd shift involves locating and pulling products, using handheld scanners and ERP, and operating forklifts to fulfill orders.

The role emphasizes accuracy, speed, and safety, with a $3.00/hour bonus for all hours worked upon contract completion. W-2 candidates only; H-1B sponsorship is not available.

Competenze

• 1 year+ of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required.
• No degree required; relevant skills and experience emphasized.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand/walk for long shifts.

Mansioni

• Retrieve items from racking accurately using handheld scanners and ERP system.
• Sort and consolidate picked items for shipment processing.
• Pack products securely using internal SPS system to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks following safety protocols.
• Meet daily/weekly/monthly performance goals for accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; report hazards.
