Job summary

Kreate, a family-owned plastics manufacturer in Georgetown, TX, is seeking a Shipping Manager to lead all outbound logistics operations. You will drive on-time shipments, manage carrier relationships, and partner with warehouse leadership, transportation, and customer service to deliver best-in-class outbound execution.

The role requires 5+ years in warehouse or distribution and 3+ years in shipping/logistics leadership, with proficiency in WMS/ERP systems (IQMS preferred).

Qualifications

5+ years of warehouse or distribution experience.
3+ years of leadership experience in shipping or logistics operations.
Experience managing carrier relationships and transportation processes.

Responsibilities

Direct all outbound activities including picking, staging, loading, and shipment execution.
Ensure on-time and accurate shipment of all customer orders in alignment with OTIF/LOTIF targets.
Manage daily shipping schedules, dock utilization, and labor planning.
Drive throughput while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.
Manage relationships with carriers (LTL, FTL, parcel, intermodal) and optimize freight flow.
Lead shipping leads, and material handlers, including performance reviews.
Ensure all outbound transactions are processed in IQMS/WMS and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor KPIs such as OTIF/LOTIF, shipping accuracy, and dock efficiency.
