Job summary

DASI, headquartered in Miami, FL, seeks an Outbound supervisor – Level 5 to ensure outgoing parts and related paperwork meet customer requirements and DASI's QMS. You will lead a small team, verify certificates, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace trading environment.

You will oversee inspections, data accuracy, and staff training while coordinating with QA and operations to maintain timelines and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3+ years of related experience.
• Supervisor experience required.
• ASA-100 and ISO quality standard knowledge is a plus.
• Able to perform light to moderate lifting.
• Computer literate with data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of outgoing parts, verify trace documents to meet quality procedures.
• Oversee data input accuracy in the DASI database and organize workflow.
• Train and onboard new hires; supervise daily duties to meet quality standards.
• Assist with scheduling, timecards, and continuous improvement projects with QA.
• Ensure paperwork and certifications (e.g., 8130s, Form One) are compliant.

Purpose

At DASI, the Outbound supervisor – Level 5 is responsible for ensuring that all outgoing material (and the related paperwork) meets the customer requirements and quality inspection standards in accordance to DASI’s Quality Management System (QMS).

Key accountabilities

• Perform visual inspections of all outgoing parts and materials, including verifying trace documents, to ensure compliance with approved quality procedures and customer requirements.
• Familiar with the different Maintenance Release certificates such as 8130’s, EASA Form One, etc.
• Familiar with ATA106 and ATA300 Specifications
• Enter, verify, and validate the accuracy of data input into the DASI database.
• Assist with organizing workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
• Identify issues within the team and provide continuous support to all members according to operating standards.
• Train and onboard new hires to make sure they understand their roles.
• Oversee daily duties of employees to ensure that quality standards are being met and proper procedures are being followed.
• Assist with scheduling and timecard approvals.
• Working with the Quality Assurance department in continuous improvement projects.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience and qualifications

• Associate degree from a two-year college in a related field and/or 3+ years of directly related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• College or Technical School - a Plus.
• ASA-100 and/or ISO Quality Standard knowledge - a plus.
• Supervisor experience.
• Ability to perform light to moderate lifting.
• Computer literate.
