Owens & Minor in Ashland, VA is seeking an Outbound Dock Supervisor with a 4:00 PM start for a full-time role. You will coordinate and lead distribution center operations across receiving, warehousing, shipping, and inventory accuracy, ensuring safety and service objectives are met.

Key responsibilities include team leadership, process improvement using Lean/Six Sigma, KPI monitoring, training, and strict adherence to SOPs, WI's, and cross-functional coordination with Transportation and Client

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years in professional supply chain or warehouse operations with leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and warehouse best practices.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced matrix environment and mentor teammates.
  • Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead distribution center operations, including receiving, warehousing, shipping, and inventory accuracy.
  • Supervise and support the operations team, ensuring safe and efficient task completion.
  • Identify process improvements and implement Lean or Six Sigma strategies.
