Job summary

Avantor is seeking an Outbound Distribution Supervisor to oversee daily planning, implementation and maintenance of distribution activities at our site. You will lead a team, schedule workload, and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations that meet quality standards.

Your responsibilities include monitoring performance, driving cost reductions through process improvements, coordinating with production, receiving and inventory, and maintaining accurate documentation in line with cGMPs and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a technical field and/or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of progressive distribution experience with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Life science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or chemical production background preferred.
• Experience in cGMP manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise distribution employees and coordinate with production, receiving and inventory.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements and deliver products.
• Monitor and improve efficiency, safety, and accuracy of distribution processes through data collection and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with written documentation (Batch Records, cGMPs, SOPs, Work Instructions).
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve capacity.
