MAT Holdings, Inc. is expanding and opening a new distribution center in Shannon, Mississippi. We seek motivated workers to join our warehouse team, handling inbound/outbound materials, shipping documents, and daily clerical tasks.

Training and long-term growth are available as the operation scales. Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, basic English communication, and the ability to work independently with initiative.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Strong communication in English and basic math.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
• Familiarity with SAP and shipping processes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and perform computer transactions.
• Manage customer accounts to ship material promptly.
• Create shipping documents (Bills of Lading) and labels in SAP.
• Maintain daily shipping schedule changes and communications.
• Answer calls, greet visitors, and route to correct offices.
• Perform routine clerical tasks and document information clearly.
• Learn and adapt to new processes; take on other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Basic function is to receive incoming materials, perform the necessary computer transactions, and ensure an orderly and timely movement of parts from receipt to shipment to customer.

• Manage customer accounts to ship material in a timely manner
• Create shipping documents such as Bills of Lading and shipping labels using SAP
• Type routine correspondence with transportation, dispatch, and internal contacts
• Maintain daily changes to account shipping schedules
• Answer telephone calls in a timely manner, direct calls and take messages
• Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate offices
• Perform routine clerical functions such as logging, recording and filing as assigned
• Document all appropriate information promptly and clearly
• Operate self-sufficiently and desire to learn new processes
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school graduate
• Experience working in a warehouse
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Ability to read and comprehendinstructions, correspondence and memos
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Ability to communicate with carriers via the telephone
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts
• Dotcom or E-commerce experience is a plus
• SAP experience is a plus
