Outbound Appointment Setters (Call Center)

Location: From Home

Compensation: $17.50/hr starting, $19/hr at 90 days, $20/hr at 6 months, $21/hr at 1 year (all increases based on successful reviews) plus $100- $500/week bonuses based on booked appointments

Location: Work from home after 2 weeks of in-office training in Madison, WI. Candidates must reside in the greater Madison area. Occasional onsite meetings (1-2 times annually).

Full-Time Hours/Shifts: 35 hours a week Mon - Fri with two available shifts:

  • 11 AM - 6 PM Mon - Fri
  • 12 PM - 7 PM Mon - Fri
  • Both schedules must be willing to work rotating Saturdays (every 3rd Saturday)

Job Type: Full-Time W2, Part-Time W2, Seasonal. *90-day probational period.

Responsibilities:

  • High outbound calling with the goal of setting up in-person Sales Rep/Project Manager appointments for all 6 locations across the U.S.
  • Reach weekly appointment-setting goals/KPIs (and get bonuses when goals are exceeded!)
  • Maintain detailed notes in our CRM (customer relationship management) program, AccuLynx
  • Work within computer programs like Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word as needed for tracking progress and keeping information organized
  • Work with a small team and independently when needed
  • Participate in team meetings through Zoom video and other team responsibilities
  • All calling is 100% outbound (some cold calling, most are following up from online quote requests)

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience with computers/strong computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, video calls, Email, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • 2+ years phone experience required, call center environment highly preferred
  • Strong customer service skills and professional mannerisms over the phone
  • Strong attention to detail in taking customer outbound call notes
  • Strong ability to multitask, while continuing to deliver on accountabilities
  • Ability to pass both a drug test and a background check
  • Must provide own internet connection (computer equipment provided)
  • Knowledge in roofing, siding, windows and doors is preferred but not required
  • Experience with a CRM is a plus but not required (like AccuLynx or similar)
  • Spanish speaking is a plus but not required
  • A can-do attitude and drive. See the glass as half-full!
