Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers in Georgetown, TX is seeking an experienced Outboard Boat Technician to diagnose, repair, and service boats in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, marine electrical knowledge, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team. Certification in Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, or Honda outboards is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have previous marine or outboard technician experience.
• Certifications in Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, or Honda outboards preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of marine electrical and fuel systems.
• Ability to work independently while staying team-oriented.
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair outboard engines and marine systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, steering, and hydraulic systems
• Perform inspections and maintenance
• Install marine accessories including electronics, GPS units, trolling motors, and audio systems
• Water-test and prepare boats for delivery
• Complete repair orders and service documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with additional service department duties as needed

Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers is looking for an experienced Outboard Boat Technician to join our Georgetown service team. We’re looking for someone who can troubleshoot, repair, and service boats with confidence in a fast-paced dealership environment.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair outboard engines and marine systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, steering, and hydraulic systems
• Perform inspections and maintenance
• Install marine accessories including electronics, GPS units, trolling motors, and audio systems
• Water-test and prepare boats for delivery
• Complete repair orders and service documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with additional service department duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous marine or outboard technician experience REQUIRED
• Certified in Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, or Honda outboards preferred
