Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Outage Manager to lead planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout of major outages at a 618 MW IGCC facility in Edwardsport, IN. You will coordinate maintenance, capital projects, and contractor workforces to ensure safe, efficient outage delivery.

Qualified candidates will have hands-on Primavera P6 scheduling experience, record of managing power plant outages, and strong leadership and stakeholder management skills for on-site operations and extended outage schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous work in power block outage management.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.

Lead Critical Outage Operations at One of the World's Most Advanced Power Generation Facilities

We're seeking an experienced Outage Manager to lead the planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout of major outages at a state-of-the-art 618 MW Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) power generation facility in Edwardsport, Indiana.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for coordinating complex outage activities across maintenance, construction, capital projects, and contractor workforces. If you have done work in power generation outages, turnarounds, shutdown management, and Primavera P6 scheduling, this is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and successful outage execution at a world-class facility.

What You'll Do

As the Outage Manager, you will serve as the central point of coordination for all outage-related activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Work Schedule

Planning Phase:

• Typically 40-50 hours per week

Active Outage Execution:

• Approximately 60-70 hours per week

This is a Contract position based out of Edwardsport, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr.
