Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus a 3-year apprenticeship or equivalent painting experience.
• Must be respirator qualified and able to work safely with painting equipment.
• Must be physically capable of climbing stairs/ladders and lifting up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Apply coatings (epoxies, alkyds, waterborne, acrylics, urethane, zinc, etc.) using brush, roller, spray, or other methods.
• Prepare metal surfaces per procedures and SSPC specs and perform surface prep tasks.
• Maintain and operate painting-related equipment and follow plant procedures and Coatings Program requirements.
