Job summary

The YMCA of Central Stark County in Canton, OH is seeking an Out of School Enrichment Coordinator to lead a welcoming program for Kindergarten through 6th grade, ensuring children feel safe, connected, and excited to grow.

You will coach staff to develop social-emotional skills, supervise daily operations, uphold licensing and quality standards, and create exceptional experiences for every child. Must have an endorsed credential or associate degree, be 18+, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must have OCCRRA School-Age Endorsement, CPL Level 3, or an associate degree in education or related field.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• At least 18 years old with high school diploma/GED.

• Champion program excellence by leading daily operations, maintaining licensing and quality standards, and creating exceptional experiences for every child.

Starting Pay:

$15.65/hour

Position Details:

• Must be available Monday - Friday for AM & PM shifts
• Shift hours: 630am - 9am / 3pm - 6pm (varies by location)
• Serve children in Kindergarten through 6th grade at one of our partner Stark County school district locations

What You'll Need:

• OCCRRA School-Age Endorsement, CPL Level 3, or an associate's degree (or higher) in education or a related field.
• Ability to pass a background check
• At least 18 years old with high school diploma/GED (required)

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience with staff development & school-age children
• Basic knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice
