Our new Creative People and Places programme needs an ambitious and creative individual who can bring residents, artists and partners together and turn conversations into visible, joyful, high-quality arts activity. Someone who can create meaningful connections and the conditions for participation and is able to welcome everyone.
You’ll be aware of the practical, physical and emotional barriers that can get in the way and you’ll support people to overcome them. You’ll lead our community on a journey – from having a look, to coming along, taking part, making decisions and deciding what happens next.
KNOWLEDGE of:Co-creation and community decision-making, including practical deliveryAudience development and engagement, with understanding of how to identify, reach and grow diverse and under-served audiencesProgramming performances or other artistic works that deliver ambitious and artistic excellence in a variety of settings and scales.The process of bringing innovation and local connection to arts initiatives to develop and sustain creativity and engagement.Monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and experience of using them to develop programmes and inform reporting to public bodies.
