Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking an OTR Driver for the 2nd shift to operate a tractor-trailer between production and distribution facilities in North Carolina. You will perform pre-trip checks, log daily activities, and ensure safe loading/unloading at dock locations.

The role requires a CDL Class A, at least two years of tractor-trailer experience, and the ability to pass PBV’s skills test and a DOT medical examination. Excellent benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• DOT CDL Class A license required or able to obtain.
• Two years tractor–trailer experience required.
• Experience positioning trailers at docks for loading/unloading.
• Able to pass PBV driving skills test.
• Ability to work shifts longer than 8 hours.
• Able to pass a DOT physical before first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operates an 80,000 pound tractor and semi-trailer to pre-determined destinations.
• Conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safe operation.
• Positions trailers at docks for loading and unloading.
• Maintains a driver’s log book daily.
• Other duties as assigned.
