Job summary

Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers is seeking an OTR Service Technician in Illinois. The role involves tire service, repairs, and maintaining safety and service quality on site for heavy equipment used in construction and mining.

You will operate heavy duty tire service equipment, mount/dismount tires, and complete service tickets while upholding OSHA/MSHA safety standards. A valid driver's license and strong teamwork skills are required.

Qualifications

• OTR experience in commercial tire service is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the vehicle type.
• Strong written and spoken communication abilities are required.
• Commitment to safety procedures and working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Dismount and mount off-the-road tires, including multi-piece rims.
• Assess tire conditions and perform needed repairs.
• Mount and inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Operate heavy duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Complete service tickets and paperwork accurately.
• Follow OSHA and MSHA safety requirements and guidelines.
• Maintain company service vehicle and equipment.
• Deliver Service Excellence to customers.
