Job summary

Mahaska Bottling Company, Inc. in Oskaloosa, IA is seeking an Over the Road Truck Driver to deliver freight to existing locations and customers.

The role requires safely operating tractor-trailer units, completing FMCSA inspections, and maintaining accurate logs while adhering to DOT and company policies. The successful candidate will possess a valid Class A CDL and at least 1 year of CDL driving experience, with strong time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Pass DOT physical.

OTR Regional Midwest Truck Driver (Oskaloosa Ia.)

Mahaska Bottling has an immediate opening at our Oskaloosa Ia. location for an Over the Road Truck Driver to deliver freight to our existing locations, and customers.

Description of Essential Job Functions

• Safely operate tractor-trailer combination.
• Perform vehicle inspections required under sections 396.13 of the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations.
• Maintain a current Class A CDL.
• Operate and maintain records in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), Department of Transportation (DOT) and company policies as required.
• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Able to work a flexible schedule M-F, and as many as 10-14 hours in a day.
• Some weekend work depending on customer demands when needed.
• Dedicate regional Midwest runs. Home daily most nights with limited overnights when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

• Possess and maintain a valid Class A Commercial driver's license.
