Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with DOT medical certificate.
• 2+ years verifiable trucking experience; 3+ preferred.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience with open-deck/flatbed freight preferred.
• Strong English language skills.
• Clean driving record.
• Proficient with computers and ELD.

Responsibilities

• Operate open-deck tractor-trailer following DOT Hours of Service.
• Transport open-deck freight including oversized cargo.
• Secure loads using straps, chains, and tarps.
• Inspect cargo securement during transit.
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain logs and shipping docs.
• Plan efficient routes considering traffic and weather.
• Report equipment issues promptly.
• Maintain professional appearance and safety.
