Job summary

Bishop McCarthy Center For Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Vineland, NJ is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR). You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop plans of care, and implement therapy programs to restore function and maximize independence.

The role includes education for patients and families, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Requirements include BS or MS in Occupational Therapy, current NJ OT license, NBCOT certification, and strong

Qualifications

BS or MS in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid and current New Jersey State OT license and NBCOT certification.
Effective communication with patients and caretakers regarding treatment plans and expected outcomes.

Responsibilities

Complete initial assessments and establish plan of care as prescribed by physician.
Use diagnostic tests to inform treatment planning.
Apply ADL training, ROM, fine motor activities, and functional mobility therapies.
Educate patients and caregivers on the use of assistive devices and orthotics.
Provide patient education to maximize independence and rehab outcomes.
Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge plans accurately.
Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and participate in care plan meetings.
Supervise OT aides, rehab staff, and students as needed.
