An environmental services company in Illinois is seeking a qualified driver responsible for safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials. This role requires prior commercial driving experience and a valid Class A CDL. Applicants should be familiar with DOT regulations and possess strong communication skills. The hourly pay ranges from $25 to $28, and benefits include health insurance and paid time off. This position allows for home time every Friday.

Qualifications

• Prior commercial driving experience required.
• Tankers and Hazmat (H) endorsement required.
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily inspections of vehicle and trailer for safety.
• Review shipment records and manifests before transport.
• Ensure DOT requirements such as load weight limits are valid.
• Consult with customers about load conditions.
• Notify supervisor of any violations or accidents.
• Assist in loading/unloading materials.
• Maintain housekeeping as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
