Job summary

Overhaul Carriers, a Fort Lauderdale-based trucking company, is seeking Class A flatbed drivers for an Over-the-Road account with consistent miles and competitive pay. Trainees must have 1 year of OTR or Regional experience; Experienced drivers need at least 6 months flatbed and 1 year of OTR/Regional experience.

Home time is 2 weeks out, 2 days home. Account pays $1,400–$1,600 per week plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers.

Qualifications

• Trainees must have 1 year of Over-the-Road or Regional experience.
• Experienced drivers require minimum 6 months flatbed and 1 year of Over the Road or Regional experience.
• Minimum age 22 and clean motor vehicle record with background checks; ability to pass a DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Tarpping and strapping down certain loads.
• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.
