Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a responsible OTR Driver to safely pick up and deliver horses, ensuring timely service and DOT compliance. You will communicate with supervisors, complete pre-trip checks, load and transport horses, and submit required paperwork with attention to safety and customer care.

The role requires a valid Class A license, 1 year of recent regional/OTR experience, and the ability to meet DOT medical standards. Competitive benefits and 401(k) plans are available.

Qualifications

• Prior horse handling experience is required.
• Must be able to read and speak English fluently.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid Class A driver's license without common restrictions (LZ, G, O, K, M).
• Minimum of 1 year Regional/OTR driving experience within last 3 years.
• Must meet DOT physical and medical requirements.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Able to lift a minimum of 100 lbs.
• High attention, skill and dexterity required for tractor-trailer operation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be customer-focused, honest, trustworthy, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisor daily to receive trip details and review trip plan.
• Review trip details with supervisor before pickup.
• Report to pickup on time and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Load preparation and safe transport of horses, including water and care along the route.
• Turn in bills of lading, logs, and other paperwork to the office.
• Maintain trailer cleanliness and perform regular washing and fueling tasks.

# OTR Drivers SFLBoynton Beach, FL 33472## Description**SUMMARY** Pick up and deliver horses as safely and timely as possible keeping customer service a top priority while staying in compliance with DOT.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Communicate with your supervisor daily to receive your trip details. Go over trip details with your supervisor prior to your pick-up.* Report to your pick-up on time.* Complete pre-trip prior to leaving the for your trip.* Setup truck according to the load list.* Pick up horses on load, drive safely to destination making sure to water horses.* Communicate with agents at origin/destination tracks.* Turn in all bills of lading and other paperwork, including logs, load lists, per diem sheets, etc... pertinent to the trip to the office.* Clean out trailer and fuel truck at end of trip. You must pressure wash trailer regularly to keep clean.
