Job summary

Sallee Horse Vans, Inc. is seeking an experienced Class A CDL OTR Driver based in Ocala, FL. The role focuses on long-haul driving predominantly east of the Mississippi and features team driving with emphasis on safety and on-time paperwork.

You will maintain hours-of-service compliance, communicate with the office and field supervisors, and handle loading/unloading of horses. A clean MVR, DOT fitness, and ability to pass required checks are essential.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL license required.
• Minimum 1 year regional/OTR driving in last 3 years; 3 years OTR preferred.
• Must be 23 years or older.
• Clean MVR and safe driving record.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug test.
• No DUI/DWI in past 5/10 years as applicable.
• Background check required.
• Passport to Canada a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive OTR predominantly East of the Mississippi.

Preferred 3 years OTR Driving.* Minimum of 23 years of age* Clean MVR and safe driving record* Never refused to submit to or test positive for a controlled substance or alcohol* Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test* No convictions of a DUI in a PMV in the last 5 years or CMV in 10 years* Must be able to pass a background check* Obtaining a passport to drive to Canada is a plus
