Dyno Nobel Inc. is seeking an On-Site OTR Dispatcher in Missouri to manage driver assignments, optimize loads, and ensure safe handling of hazardous materials. The role requires CDL with hazmat endorsements (or willingness to obtain) and 2+ years of dispatcher experience.

Strong TMS skills and regulatory knowledge are essential for success. You will coordinate with drivers, planners, and customers, maintain dispatch records, and support logistics operations with a team-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Requires Class A CDL with Doubles/Triples, Tanker and Hazmat endorsements or willingness to obtain
• 2+ years of truck dispatcher experience in a similar industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
• Experience with Transportation Management Software (TMS)
• Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws
• Positive attitude, team player

Responsabilités

• Daily assignments of drivers and truck fleet including dispatch, routing, equipment planning and utilization
• Arrange outbound and inbound loads to optimize efficiency and profit
• Daily monitoring and tracking of hazardous materials shipments and communication with drivers
• Communicating with customers about product details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests
• Coordinating with plant distribution personnel daily to gain understanding of scheduling needs
• Preparing dispatch documents as well as generating invoices and bills
• Maintaining records of dispatched calls, deliver routes, route changes, as well as delivery times
• Reviewing driver logs including dispatched calls and arrival times
• Logging customer shipping schedules and complaints

What You’ll Do

As an Over The Road (OTR) Dispatcher, you will provide fleet dispatch expertise to hazardous materials OTR fleet contributing to achievement of the company goal strategy, growth, and profit objectives consistent with Dyno Nobel and Dyno Nobel Transportation mission, vision and values. Other duties include:

• Daily assignments of drivers and truck fleet including dispatch, routing, equipment planning and utilization

• Daily monitoring and tracking of hazardous materials shipments and communication with drivers
• Communicating with customers about product details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests

• Preparing dispatch documents as well as generating invoices and bills
• Maintaining records of dispatched calls, deliver routes, route changes, as well as delivery times

What We’re Looking For:

• Class A CDL with Doubles/Triples, Tanker and Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to obtain endorsements)
• Bachelor's or associate degree in transportation or logistics preferred
• Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.
• 2+ years of experience as a truck dispatcher in a similar industry
• Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
• Experience with Transportation Management Software (TMS)
• Knowledge of applicable transportation regulations and laws
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
