Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join our safety-focused team in La Porte, TX. The route operates from La Porte, TX to the Eastern US, averaging 2,500–2,800 miles per week and offering weekly home time.

Average earnings are projected at $200,000–$250,000 annually with a compensation package including on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay, reflecting our commitment to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Operates tractor trailer units.
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units.
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads.
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and DOT requirements/regulations.
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.
