Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join its safety-conscious team in Tucker, GA. This full-time role offers home time every 2 weeks and routes across NC, NJ, KY, OH, the Northeast, FL and TN, averaging 2600 miles per week.

Annual earnings average $200,000–$250,000, with compensation through on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay. Clean Harbors emphasizes health and safety and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use mobile apps and dispatch software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority by following safe work practices.
• Adhere to weights and proper utilization of the units.
• Load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste; secure loads properly.
• Place placards as per DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports.

Weekly average mile - 2600

• Average $200-250K per year

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minium 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
