Job summary

Kuna Foodservice in East Peoria, IL is seeking a Class A Delivery Driver to join our Transportation team. You will operate a tractor/trailer in line with DOT requirements, deliver to customers, scan/verify deliveries, and handle returns.

Requires a valid Class A CDL and Medical Card, English communication, ability to work overtime, and tolerance for temperatures from -10 to 55+ degrees. Training on equipment is provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid Class A CDL License and Medical Card.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to be certified on all equipment used on shift by Kuna Foodservice.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Must work in varying temperatures (-10 to 55+ degrees).
• Must be able to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor/trailer conforming to DOT requirements.
• Follow Kuna safety policies regarding safe driving.
• Makes deliveries to customers.
• Scan customer cases to ensure correctly delivered items.
• Verify products placed in designated locations.
• Pickup customer returns as necessary.
• Complete pre-trip inspections and post-trip DVIR.
• Collect payments from customers as necessary.
• Attend required company meetings.
• Adhere to safety practices and company policies.
