Job summary

Blue Trucking is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for USPS-dedicated, high-mileage OTR routes. This full-time role focuses on preplanned postal freight with reliable weekly pay and modern equipment. Drivers operate primarily east of I-35, with typical home time every 10–14 days and no West Coast or Far Northeast lanes.

You will handle pretrip inspections, manage ELD logs, and maintain safety through DOT/FMCSA compliance. Join a team prioritizing driver satisfaction and steady miles.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable OTR tractor-trailer experience.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen, background check, and physical.
• Willingness to be out on the road for extended periods (typical home time every 10–14 days).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport preplanned USPS loads across assigned lanes
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and comply with all Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
• Secure loads properly and ensure timely deliveries
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow route plans
• Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies
