Job summary

Blue Trucking in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers to haul USPS loads across preplanned routes. This is a high-mileage OTR position offering steady work and modern equipment.

Drivers enjoy a fixed weekly rate with potential for higher take-home pay based on performance. Expect drop-and-hook freight, no West Coast routes, and regular weekly pay with direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable OTR tractor-trailer experience.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen, background check, and physical.
• Willingness to be out on the road for extended periods (typical home time every 10–14 days).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport preplanned USPS loads across assigned lanes
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and comply with all Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
• Secure loads properly and ensure timely deliveries
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow route plans
• Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies
