Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center is seeking an experienced Class A CDL truck driver to deliver bulk and bagged feed to customers. You will represent the company on the road, plan routes, and ensure timely, safe deliveries while maintaining customer relationships.

The role requires weekend work on a rotating basis, sleeper-tractor readiness for multi-day trips, and strict adherence to DOT rules. A clean driving record and drug/background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a truck driver; minimum 2 years of tractor/trailer operation.
• Current and valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Ability to work weekends on a rotating & seasonal basis.
• Ability to sleep in a sleeper tractor for multi-day deliveries.
• Physically qualified to drive a CMV; lift up to 50 lbs.; move 2,000-lb pallets with pallet jack.
• Knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations.
• Experience with electronic logs and GPS.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to read and speak English.
• No recent or serious traffic violations; background/drug checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver LNC livestock feed products to customers and collect payment as needed.
• Maintain relationships with customers while ensuring professional conduct.
• Transport finished goods and raw materials between plants, retailers and distribution centers.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules; comply with regulations and company policies.
• Inspect vehicles and maintain logs; ensure loads are secured per DOT rules.
• Tarp and secure loads; maintain cleanliness of trucks and equipment.
• Perform related duties including hydraulic systems, liftgates, pallet jacks and loading configurations.
