Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center seeks a dependable CDL-A driver to operate heavy trucks and deliver bulk feed, bagged feed, and supplements. You will act as the face of LNC, maintain customer relationships, and ensure on-time delivery while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires weekend availability, the ability to sleep in a sleeper, and adherence to DOT regulations. Home time typically on weekends, with potential overnight layovers as needed.

Qualifications

Possess a valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
Minimum 2 years of tractor/trailer operation experience.
Ability to work weekends and multi-day deliveries.
Strong customer service orientation and safety focus.

Responsibilities

Safely deliver bulk feed and products to customers as directed.
Maintain professional conduct and build relationships with customers.
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules with safety compliance.
Inspect vehicles and report mechanical issues; perform pre/post trip checks.
Maintain accurate driver logs per state/federal regulations.
Communicate delivery updates and adjust plans as needed.
Tarps and secures loads per DOT and company policies.
Ensure cleanliness and proper operation of delivery equipment.
