Job summary

Insomniac is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to provide safe local and long-distance transportation of Insomniac goods and assets. This role reports to the General Manager and Logistics Manager, Night Owl Transportation, based in Las Vegas, NV, with on-the-road responsibilities.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, secure loads, complete paperwork, meet delivery windows, communicate with dispatch and customers, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver’s license
• 2+ years tractor-trailer driving experience
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Skilled at driving large vehicles
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
• Proficient using GPS and other routing systems

Responsibilities

• Conduct Pre-Trip inspection on tractor and trailer and document per FMCSA/DOT standards
• Safely secure load per DOT standards
• Complete Pre-Trip paperwork before departure
• Transport product to local and long-distance destinations within time windows
• Arrive on time for deliveries and pickups
• Communicate with dispatch and customers during trips
• Submit trip documents (logs, receipts, etc.) on time
• Maintain equipment and keep it clean and fueled
• Report damaged items to appropriate personnel
• Keep licenses and certifications up to date
• Help train and onboard team members
• This is an OTR role with extended time away from home
