Job Description

Position Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring proper pickup and delivery of Tyson products. Drivers must live in a defined hiring area and be willing to operate across all 48 states, including various hours and nights. Deliveries include all Tyson Locations and Tyson Customer Locations as per requirements. Drivers must comply with all regulations in Section 391.11 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Use safe lifting techniques; regularly open CMV hoods, trailer doors, and operate landing gear.
• Stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, balance, stoop, talk, and hear.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Recognize audible alerts from industrial equipment and vehicles.

Work environment may include wet, slippery, hot, dry, dusty, and cold conditions. Personal Protective Equipment such as hearing protection, reflective vests, and closed-toed shoes are required when outside the truck.

Safety and Compliance

Follow all safety policies, identify and mitigate risks, and be trained in safety procedures.

Job Requirements

• Pass DOT urine and hair follicle tests.

Minimum Qualifications

• Verifiable CDL A Tractor Trailer experience: 9 months in last 12 months or 12 months in last 3 years.
• No preventable accidents or DUI/DWI/OUI convictions in specified periods.
• No positive DOT drug/alcohol tests in last 3 years.
• Maximum of 8 driving jobs and 3 terminations from Tyson Foods in last 3 years.

Pay and Benefits

$1,000 - $1,800 per week.
