Job summary

Doyle Transportation is seeking an experienced OTR driver with a valid Class A CDL to transport goods nationwide. You will perform pre-trip inspections, secure loads, plan routes, and coordinate with the Transportation Department to ensure timely deliveries while obeying FMCSA Hours of Service.

You will assist with loading and unloading using knuckle boom cranes on our trucks, maintain logs, report incidents promptly, and uphold Doyle's core values.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with OTR driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• OTR, long distance driving and load securement.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks.
• Coordinate with the Transportation Department and customers to ensure deliveries.
• Plan routes to meet delivery deadlines and comply with regulations.
• Comply with FMCSA Hours of Service and other policies.
• Assist with loading/unloading and basic vehicle maintenance as needed.
