Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a full-time tractor-trailer driver to safely deliver Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos to local stores in Midland, TX. You will operate a tractor/trailer per FMCSA rules, load/unload, and manage deliveries to various locations.

The role requires a Class A CDL, extensive accident-free driving history, flexibility to work holidays and weekends, and the ability to lift and handle products. Training and health benefits accompany a long-term career with PepsiCo.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Possess a valid Class A CDL
• Have at least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours
• Willing to work holidays and weekends
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor trailer for extended periods of time, up to 11 hours per day, with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations in accordance with FMCSA regulations
• Load and unload trailers, including manual loading, palletized loading/unloading, use of a two-wheeler, and overhead lifting
• Transport chips, dips, and more to large grocery stores, factory facilities, rural storage units, and other traffic centers
• Obtain signatures of receipt, pick up returns, complete logs and paperwork related to deliveries, and review invoices and manifests
• Use an electronic logging device, such as a tablet or onboard computer, and complete pre- and post-trip truck inspections
• Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch throughout the day or night
