Role Description The CDL A Truck Driver role at KMP Transport Inc. is a full-time, over the road position based in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, the driver will operate and maintain CDL A trucks to transport dry goods ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to safety regulations. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, completing required logs and documentation, and following all DOT and company policies. The driver will coordinate with dispatch, plan routes, communicate any delays or issues, and represent the company professionally with customers at pickup and delivery locations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven safe driving experience
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and basic truck maintenance practices
• Ability to handle dry freight, including proper loading, securing, and monitoring
• Effective communication, time management, and route-planning skills to ensure timely deliveries
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and professional customer service in all interactions
• Ability to work full time on-site in Phoenix, AZ, including flexibility for varying schedules and routes
