Job summary

Best Warehousing & Transportation Inc. is looking for a reliable Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver based out of Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will display strong safety consciousness and pride in timely delivery and cargo integrity while adhering to federal and state regulations.

Your responsibilities will include operating a Class A tractor-trailer across various regions, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with dispatch, and maintaining vehicle compliance. A valid Class A CDL and three years of OTR experience are required for this position.

Qualifications

• 3 years of verifiable OTR or long-haul CDL driving experience.
• Ability to perform basic roadside maintenance.
• Dependable and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely across assigned routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure timely completion of electronic logging device (ELD) records.
• Load, secure, and unload freight as needed.
• Adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.

Skills

Proficiency with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)

Knowledge of federal and state DOT regulations

Safe operation of a 53' trailer

Self-motivation

Education

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Current DOT medical certificate
