Job summary

BWT Logistics is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver based in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will haul freight across regional routes including Indianapolis, Zanesville, and St. Joseph, while ensuring compliance with all regulations. Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL and at least 3 years of OTR experience.

This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. Competitive pay of $60 per mile or $24 per hour is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean MVR.
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable OTR or long-haul CDL driving experience.
• Current DOT medical certificate (or ability to obtain one).
• Proficiency with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs).
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS rules.
• Ability to safely operate a 53’ trailer.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailer safely across assigned routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure timely completion of ELD records and documentation.
• Load and secure freight appropriately.
• Maintain communication with dispatch regarding route status.
• Adhere to HOS regulations for safety.
• Perform basic roadside maintenance and report issues.
• Keep the cab and trailer clean and organized.
