Job summary

Black Hills Trucking LLC is seeking an Over the Road (OTR) Driver in Dickinson, ND. This full-time position requires a valid Class A CDL with endorsements and at least two years of OTR experience.

You will drive long-haul routes, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain logs while meeting DOT safety standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for long-haul assignments, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Class A CDL with endorsements.
• Minimum of two (2) years OTR experience.
• Ability to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) medical requirements.
• Acceptable MVR and a safety-focused attitude.
• Willingness to be on the road for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck to outlying locations; travels and works for extended periods as necessary for drill site requirements, customer work orders, and miscellaneous company assignments.
• Adheres to all DOT and company safety and compliance standards.
• Completes pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintains accurate logs (electronic or paper) of driving hours and activities.
• Communicates with dispatch regarding load status, delays, or issues.
• Delivers freight on schedule and handles paperwork at pickup/drop-off.
• Secures cargo properly and ensures load integrity.
• May be required to periodically work out of location other than base terminal for special assignments.
