Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Tennessee is seeking an Over-the-Road Driver to join our team. You will safely transport freight to designated customer locations with reliable equipment and on-time service.

You will deliver, pick up, maintain documentation, and communicate with dispatch while earning $80,000 to $100,000 per year and enjoying benefits such as 401(k), health/dental/vision, life insurance, and PTO. This role requires a CDL A and at least two years of experience; flatbed experience is preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a CDL A and at least 2 years of experience as a CDL A truck driver.
• Flatbed experience preferred.
• Lifting up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company owned vehicle while delivering freight across assigned routes.
• Pick up and deliver products in a timely and professional manner.
• Secure cargo as needed to ensure safe transportation.
• Maintain communication with dispatch regarding schedules, route updates, and delivery status.
• Complete and manage all required delivery and transportation paperwork.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all DOT regulations, safety standards, and federal and state transportation laws.
• Real time ELD usage.
