Job Opening: Locum Physician - Otolaryngology

Join a dynamic healthcare team at a well-regarded medical center in the heart of Waterloo, Iowa! This facility is seeking an experienced Locum Otolaryngologist to provide essential coverage and care. With a supportive environment and a commitment to patient-centered practices, this role is an exciting opportunity for professionals ready to make an impact.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide 24-hour call coverage for ER and post-op patients.
2. Perform ENT-related surgeries and support clinic volume.
3. Manage inpatient responsibilities at the facility.
4. Conduct various procedures, including basic ENT clinic care, nasopharyngeal scopes, and biopsies.
5. Oversee a daily clinic volume of 15-25 patients.
6. Utilize Epic for Electronic Medical Records.
7. Work collaboratively with 2:1 nursing and ancillary staff support.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Otolaryngology - REQUIRED
• Active IA License or Active IMLC - REQUIRED
• Fellowship Trained in ENT - REQUIRED
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified - REQUIRED
• Active Iowa Medical License or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) - REQUIRED
• Fellowship Training in Otolaryngology - REQUIRED
