We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.
The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging began in Houston in March 2005 and has expanded throughout eastern Texas. Our monthly patient census is approximately 2,300, supported by a staff of 70, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support staff.
Benefits and Compensation: For working 4 to 5 days a week, annual income is approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend. There are no weekend or night calls, and malpractice insurance is covered by the practice along with tail coverage. Over 19 years and 400,000 evaluations, we have not had a malpractice inquiry or action.
Practice Focus: Our mission is to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, utilizing a mobile unit (pictured on our website). We serve various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients requesting swallowing studies. Requests are routed through our office staff and scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often the same day, depending on volume and location. Our goal is to have staff home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
