Job Summary:

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking an experienced otolaryngologist for our growing program.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be comfortable with traumatic ear, nose, and throat procedures, including but not limited to:
• repair of external ears
• assisting in complex facial trauma with ophthalmologists, neurosurgeons, and/or plastic surgeons
• laryngotracheal injuries
• Adult only in the hospital setting
• Board eligibility or board certification required
• Preferred candidates will have relevant experience
• The incoming provider will focus mainly on trauma and emergent/acute ear, nose, and throat procedures, including:
• hospital-based care
• managing inpatient consults
• rounding on patients
• managing follow-up clinics
• Share the month with another dedicated otolaryngologist on an on/off schedule
• HCA Florida Ocala Hospital's trauma program is the area's only ACS-verified Level 1 trauma center serving 5 counties and over 1 million residents. It is also a teaching hospital for the University of Central Florida and hosts the UCF/HCA residency consortium.
