Job description

Otolaryngologist - ENT MD/DO

Our company, founded in 2004, offers an innovative alternative to conventional ENT practices, focusing on providing memorable care and simple in-office solutions. We specialize exclusively in upper airway solutions, treating common breathing, sleep, and snoring diagnoses that impact patients' quality of life.

Our physicians are supported by a collaborative team of PAs and other clinical and administrative personnel who handle much of the initial patient burden, allowing physicians to practice at the top of their license. Responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing initial patient intake, histories, and in-office scans
  2. Scheduling patients with the physician, generally same-day or next-day
  3. Reviewing scans and building treatment plans or reviewing recommendations from APP
  4. Supporting staff in overseeing pre-authorizations, orders, etc.

Approximately 55-60% of patients qualify for in-office procedures. Those who don't may be treated with nasal sprays, oral appliances, CPAP, etc.

Schedule
  • Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5:30 pm, with flexibility for 4- or 5-day work weeks
  • Procedures take 15-20 minutes, supported by highly efficient staff and processes
  • On procedure days, PAs see patients first and initiate a 30-minute numbing process. Physicians perform the procedures, supported by PAs and MAs monitoring vitals
  • Follow-up visits occur at 1, 2, 3, and 6 weeks, with physicians or PAs conducting these visits
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities are available
  • No nights, weekends (PAs cover Saturdays), holidays, or hospital call; no ER/hospital call ever
  • Emergencies: PAs handle first call, MD may take minor calls by phone (rare)

We offer above-average compensation and a full benefits package. For more details, follow the link on this page.
