Details:

• Seeking a BC Otolaryngologist to provide locums coverage for an established practice in Kitty Hawk, NC for ongoing coverage starting June 2025.
• Weekly work schedule: 4 clinic days, 1 optional surgery day
  • Clinic: Monday - Thursday, 830a-5p
  • Surgery: Fridays, 830a-12p (no patients, surgery day only)
• Required procedures include Tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy, tympanostomy tubes-BM&T (OR or in office) , Biopsy-Bx, Incision and Drainage-I&D (OR or in office), epidermal inclusion cyst, septoplasty, turbinoplasty, concha bullosa, tympanoplasty, microsuspension direct laryngoscopy and biopsy, ethmoid sinus, sphenoid sinus, maxillary sinus, frontal sinus, nasal antral windows, endoscopic, and frontal- OR cases, Pertonsillar abscess tympanostomy tubes-BM& (OR or in office), Incision and Drainage-I&D (OR or in office)
• Practice staff includes an experienced audiologist
• Inpatient and outpatient clinical care
• Provider will be on call for their patients
• Stand-alone clinic
• Built in referral network
• Avg # patients/day/provider - 16-18
• # of Surgical Cases per month: 6
• LT Respond to Codes - No
• ICU/Critical Care Duties - No
• LT will not be expected to serve as backup to ER
• New physicians will need to come in the day before scheduled shifts for orientation
