Job summary

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with New York City H + H/Queens has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Otolaryngology Attending. You will provide a full spectrum of outpatient and surgical ENT care and participate in teaching and administration. On-call duties are included.

Candidates must have an MD degree and be Board Certified with NY licensure, DEA and Medicaid number. Leadership experience in academic medical centers or public health settings is preferred. EOE.

Job description

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with New York City H + H/Queens has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Otolaryngology Attending.

The Otolaryngology Attending will perform a full spectrum of general and subspecialty outpatient and surgical care. Administrative responsibilities include assistance with oversight of advanced practice providers and resident physicians. On call responsibility is included. Candidates should have a strong interest in health equity and clinical operations as there are a variety of opportunities for program development and advancement. We have six physician assistants within the ENT department and an ambulatory NP to assist with inpatient, outpatient, and operative patient care. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.

Candidates must have an MD degree and be Board Certified with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. Qualified candidates should have strong clinical abilities, teaching experience and communication and interpersonal skills. Prior management/leadership positions and experience with academic medical centers and/or public health systems is preferred.

We also offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
