Job description

Overview

Carle Health is seeking an additional Otolaryngology Advanced Practice Provider to join our established Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Department in Champaign, Illinois.

Opportunity Details
  • Join an established practice with 4 Physician Assistants and 6 BC Otolaryngologists (including specialists in Otology/Neurotology, Head and Neck/Microvascular, comprehensive care, and part-time advanced rhinology).
  • Work with Carle’s Audiology and Hearing Services Department, one of the only programs in Illinois offering comprehensive hearing services for both adults and children, with over 700 cochlear implants since 1985.
  • Participate in a weekday call rotation.
  • Our department is located in a newly built clinic, with additional space at a dedicated pediatric ear clinic with an auditory-oral school. Surgeries are performed at our new, adjoining 23,000-square-foot surgery center and Carle Foundation Hospital.
  • Assist with outreach services to clinics in Danville (~30 min away) and Mattoon (~45 min away).
  • Collaborate with experienced implant and vestibular audiologists, a fellowship-trained skull base neurosurgeon, neuroradiologists, and radiation oncologists.
Education Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
  • 1-2 years of APP experience required.
Licensure/Certification Requirements

Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure.

Compensation and Benefits
