General surgical otolaryngology procedures involve tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and PE tube placement. Non-surgical responsibilities include conducting hearing evaluations and managing disorders involving the ears, nose, throat, and skeletal facial structures. Endoscopic procedures required are septoplasty, sinus surgery, flexible and rigid bronchoscopy, and laryngoscopy. Facial surgery experience is also needed, including rhinoplasty, treatment of facial fractures, and performing skin grafts or flaps.
